I thought I would share another short story with you today. This one’s a fantasy (I guess) and it originally appeared in Potpourri Magazine back in 1993 (although I’ve reworked it a bit since then).

This is one of my favorites. I wrote it a while ago, and I was apparently feeling quite disgruntled about the number of pastries people were bringing into the office. Let this be a lesson to you!
